IBBY Appeal for PakistanThe images coming from Pakistan are tragic. For three weeks the county has been experiencing flooding beyond all recent memory. An estimated 20 million people are affected! The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Mun said after his visit to Pakistan that it is the worst disaster he has ever seen.
IBBY is making an appeal for funds to support our colleagues in Pakistan. Click here for the full appeal. Share news of our appeal with everyone!
This moving message arrived from Pakistan following our appeal:

Please use our website to make a donation, marking it clearly Pakistan 2010 Appeal. All donations will be sent directly to our colleagues at IBBY Pakistan: every dollar you send will be used on this project. Go directly to: IBBY Children in Crisis Fund.
