If you would like to make a donation to IBBY for one of our activities,

You have two options:
Donate directly to IBBY. You can use the IBBY website for credit card
payment for donations in USD or make a direct bank transfer.
or
Donate via the National Section in your country. Many National Sections
are able to receive donations on a tax-exempt basis. They will transmit all
donations to IBBY.
The programme Children in Crisis is aimed at providing support for children whose lives have been disrupted through war, civil disorder or natural disaster. Currently IBBY is supporting projects in Southern Lebanon, Gaza and Colombia. Further projects are planned for Guatemala and Northern Uganda.
A strategic meeting will be held in Biga, Turkey in May to start planning the future of school and rural libraries that are starting to get underway within Afghanistan. With the IBBY National Section in Iran, based at the Children’s Book Council, IBBY will hold a four-day colloquium in Turkey under the title Children's Books, Bridges between Nations. Guests and speakers are invited from international IBBY, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, as well as key people involved in reading, libraries, and the ministries of education in Afghanistan.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, who has promised to match funding – dollar for dollar, euro for euro – your donation to the IBBY Fund for Children in Crisis will be doubled!
To help sections in less developed or economically depressed countries, IBBY operates a Solidarity Fund to help under-funded sections.
