Regional Networks
As regional collaboration grows in importance within the IBBY community, our Regional Networks, dynamic, cross-border alliances are designed to foster cooperation and shared initiatives among IBBY Sections.
These networks are not static boundaries. They are flowing channels for exchanging ideas, co-creating projects, and amplifying the global mission of bringing books and children together, region by region.
Each Regional Network is supported by a Regional Liaison, a member of the IBBY Executive Committee, who serves as your primary point of contact for:
- Learning about ongoing regional activities
- Proposing new collaborative initiatives
- Seeking guidance or support for cross-section projects
Key Principles
- Reporting: Sections report to their assigned Regional Liaison (see table below).
- Multiple Affiliation: Sections located at cultural or geographic crossroads may participate in more than one network, depending on project scope.
- Regional Conferences and Other Events
